ONENOTE, a Microsoft office utility, has several versions. One is a "program" in Microsoft Office, one is an "app" built into Windows 10, and then there's the version (whatever it is) inside Office 365.
Whatever version I had, you could always easily sort pages within a folder.
I would sometimes number many pages with a key number (1, 2, 3) and then follow the key number by a topic of that page. The point being to sort by key number = sort by page title. There might be five pages starting page title with 1, ten pages starting with 2, etc.
Last month, I somehow got into a version or update of ONENOTE that didn't have the page sort function anymore. Mess.
Message boards often said, "You can't alphabetize pages in ONENOTE" - which wasn't my experience up until the last couple weeks.
However, there is a macro plug in called ONETASTIC which at least in some versions seems to be free. Net-net, I was able to download and install a plug-in that gives me a SORT PAGES function as a Macro inside ONENOTE.
